As an artist you always have to have a program. I don’t mean program in the sense of Page 1, Page 2, the Preamble, Forward…I don’t mean that kind of program. But I think if you are making art you have to have a program. Your art is about a kind of development of an individual theory about art, and about life through art. I believe that when you are making art you are making a kind of theory about how you see life, and about how art can theorize life. So yeah, you have to have a program. But it’s not a program that you can proscribe.
